Here's our most common questions.
I get a lot of OTA bookings. Can I still share automatically?
Yes. OTAs share the guests phone number via your reservation system. This means OTA guests get their photos automatically shared via SMS.
If I update a booking in my res system does it update in Picsaurus?
Yes, it automatically updates. Let’s say you update a booking due to a no show. That update in your reservation system will automatically update in Picsaurus. This means only the guests that you’ve made part of the tour will get their photos.
Can my staff use their own camera?
Yes. Staff can use any camera, even the default camera on the iPhone for example. They can then import those photos directly into the tour album on Picsaurus. The photos are then automatically shared to guests. They can also use the included camera in the app to make it more seamless.
Can we upload from a PC?
Yeah, you can use the Picsaurus app for windows. This means, after you’ve done your photo edits on your PC you can quickly upload to a tour album for automatic branded sharing.
How do the integrations work?
Albums will be automatically created in Picsaurus with all the tour and guest data (email and sms) gathered from the reservation system and digital waivers.
For example, if you have a 2pm tour with 10 guests. The album will be automatically created with the corresponding guests. All your guides have to do is take photos.
Do I need to tag every guest?
No. Guests are automatically added to tours so you don’t need to spend time organizing and tagging. This is the easiest way to share trip photos with guests after all.
Can I share to individual reservations?
Yes. For example, you do a boarding photo prior to the experience. You want to take and share a photo with just that one group. You can quickly search that reservation and take a photo with a single click. It’s super fast. Photos of course are automatically shared.
We don’t have the internet on tour, can we share?
That’s ok. You can shoot photos and videos offline. Once Picsaurus detects a signal it will start to automatically upload for you. You can choose to upload media over cell signal or over WIFI.
